Rene53Excellent position within the old Elizabethan town wall ramparts, which are about 2 minutes walk away and lovely to walk around. The town centre is also only a few minutes walk away, which is ideal for shopping before or after trips in the area. Despite being so central the flat is in a very quiet position, the loudest noise being made by the seagulls. I can highly recommend the flat. We are a family of two adults and two teenage children and really enjoyed our trip to Berwick and staying in the Oil Mill Lane apartment. It is very clean, comfortable and fitted out with everything a family needs.

The apartment was finished to a high standard, clean and comfortable - and central! The bathroom had both bath and shower (which was excellent) and was nice and roomy. The 3 piece suite was comfortable with board games provided. On arrival the owner made us very welcome - and helped with our luggage when we left, conveying it to the Railway Station for us. He was always friendly and helpful. There was also a lovely gardens - we loved watching the many birds visiting it. Cattle268
The apartment had everything that we needed for a comfortable and friendly stay. We have already discussed going back very soon.
The spacious master bedroom is brightly decorated with a double bed, a built in
mirrored wardrobe, handmade bedside cabinets and a mirrored dressing table
complete with hair dryer.
The second bedroom is equipped with a bunk style 4’ 6” bed base and
a ‘RestAssured’ sprung mattress. It also has a single bunk bed above. All bed
linen is provided.
We do not cater for children under 12 years or pets, and the appartments are a strictly no smoking establishment

abundance within thirty minutes of easy drive from this holiday apartment in Berwick upon Tweed.
The bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath, separate shower, heated ladder towel
rail and electric shaving point.
The combined lounge and dining room offers a television, video and DVD Home
Theatre with surround sound and a selection of CDs, DVDs and reading books.
We have all the good local restaurants menu’s for you to browse through so
you could book your table from the comfort of your own armchair and a free
beautifully illustrated town map showing the restaurants and places of interest is
provided to help you.
There are so many castles, country homes and local attractions to explore on both sides of the border you are spoiled for choice and will not be able to visit them all in one week. We have all the local brochures right here so you can plan your day trips with ease, an up to date tide table for your visit to The Holy Island of Lindisfarne and bus /train timetables for your days out into the countryside or trips to either Newcastle 60 minutes or Edinburgh which is only 40 minutes away.
The apartment has been completely redecorated and furnished to a high standard, including lighting to suite your every mood with double glazing and gas central heating throughout. Central heating is included, electricity metered. The quality of the decor, furniture and soft furnishings throughout is superb. Free internet Wi-Fi connection.
The private walled courtyard garden and sundeck has a barbecue and patio furniture. The Berwick self catering apartment is close to all local amenities, only a 3 minute walk from the town centre, ramparts and the River Tweed. The beach, golf course and tennis courts are within 7 minutes walk. All in all it is the perfect destination for a self catering holiday in Northumberland.
